Psalm 37:1-11 "Do not get upset because of evildoers, do not be envious of wrongdoers. For they will wither quickly like the grass, and decay like the green plants.Trust in the Lord and do good; live in the land and cultivate faithfulness.Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart.Commit …

In the previous post we discussed the work of the Holy Spirit, The Helper, in the world, and how that convicting work includes not only working through one's conscience, but also conviction unto revival. For the true disciple of Jesus Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit includes the conviction yet it goes to a …

True Christianity is the “Christ Life”

New covenant Christianity is the life of Christ Jesus Himself, lived in us in place of our own efforts at making a life. This is referred to as "The Christ Life." When we abandon our self-life and self-direction, the Spirit of Christ is free to live in and through us every moment of every day. It is this life, the divine life of God in us, for which we were created and then redeemed.

Commit to this life, and you will live in the presence and power of the Spirit of Christ every day. All of the promises of an abundant life in the Bible come to us only as we live the Christ Life every day. Commit yourself without reservation to His life in you and you will not lose anything of eternal value. What you will find is the life for which your soul longs.
