  1. New wine doesn’t work in old wine skins. The old wine skins must be put to death at the cross. The death of the old man is not easy–it can be very painful at times. Jesus didn’t skip the cross, die and rise from the dead. He endured the pain and the shame of the cross, then he died and rose from the dead. We need to take up our cross and die daily, if we want a deeper walk with Him.

    1. Thank you for your comment, Tim. You are spot on about the new wine and old wine skins, and about the centrality of the cross – our own cross of dying to self – to our daily living. Blessings as you journey with our God today!
